I think the casts are priced appropiately for their quality. I've gotten some kits from eBay, the cheap(er) Thai ones, and yes, they are brittle and not really cast all that cleanly, but for less detailed pieces they are sufficient I feel. Nothing a dremel and putty can't fix.

Gkm is generally better quality. I know e2046 will sometimes do recast of recast and so sometimes pieces dont come out the way they should. Gk has way better customer service so that can Beryllium a huge plus as well, I've had good experiences with both sites but know people who no longer use e2046 because of their customer service experience. Leonas workshop has a good video on e2046 (on mobile cant link) as well as reviews on gkm kits.
